Steve Smith
Steve Smith is one of today’s pre-eminent contemporary guitar players. A genuine multi-instrumentalist and composer he is a master of many forms and styles. His compositions have been performed in the USA, France, Sweden, Finland and the UK. He has lectured at the Royal College of Music junior department, and has been involved in many of the ground breaking education projects of the London Sinfonietta. He is the conductor for the 2010 Second London Mandolin Festival.

Paul Marquis
Paul Marquis was for a long time involved in amateur mandolin groups such as the now defunct Ilford BMG orchestra and the defunct London Mandolin Ensemble. Professionally he has played in the Orchestra of Covent Garden, and the Monte Verdi Orchestra with Hugo D'Alton. He has also played for radio, television and films. The latest was a film by Ken Russell. He has given master classes, teaching for at least 45 years and has played as a soloist on both the mandolin and violin. He is the principal mandolinist for the First London Mandolin Festival and will play a solo violin introduction for the Klezmer Suite.

Travis Finch
Originally from The United States, Travis Finch is in his final year of Bmus studies at Trinity College. He is currently under the instruction of Alison Stephens and has participated in Master Classes with Israeli mandolinist Alon Sariel and Dutch mandolinist Sebastiaan De Grebber. Since his arrival in the UK in 2006 he has performed in venues around London and the Southeast. Recent highlights include a performance at the Barbican and a broadcast on BBC Radio 3 with the Guildhall New Music ensemble in Total Immersion: George Crumb. He is the mandolin soloist for the Song of Japanese Autumn and Klezmer Suite and will also perform the duet "De Aires Antiguos" with Emily O'Hara

Paul Sargeant
Paul Sargeant is a player, collector, and teacher of woodwind instruments, and has a continuing enthusiasm for music of all kinds including Klezmer, which he has played on National Holocaust Day. He has performed in the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Halle Orchestra, Ballet Rambert Orchestra, and other Theatre bands and ensembles. A founder member of the British Clarinet Ensemble, he has also played in the British Saxophone Choir. He has given lecture-recitals on woodwind instruments using his collection and archive, and arranged and edited music for many purposes. He is the clarinet soloist for the Klezmer Suite.

Brenda Thompson
Accordion teacher, conductor and founder of the Fairkytes Accordion Club, Brenda is keen to show that accordionists are competent classical musicians. She is the accordion soloist for Baska Voda and Klezmer Suite.
